How to Ruin My Summer Vacation

Okay, okay. The book is not as bad as the title. I think you'd figure it by now. You might even have a better understanding of Amy's attitude and a knowledge of what it's like to stay in a "kibbutz" and to deal with a sick "safta." I'd like to hear what you think so far about the book. You should be halfway finish by now. Tell me about what you think about Amy, her family and her friends in Israel and how it relates to you. Happy reading!

Simon Sanchez High Library Catalog is now available online!

In our efforts to provide better access of the library resources for our
students, we are working hard to making them available 24/7 from any of
their web-access capable devices. We are proud to announce that SSHS
Library is the first public school library to have our library catalogs
available for browsing online. Teachers, students and parents could now
check online about SSHS library holdings. You could find out the
availability of the books or other resources before even coming to the
library. You could also search our OPAC to find out about our over 8000
e-books that could be accessible when you see Mrs. Napalan to sync your
device.

Here's more information about OPAC and how they could be accessible. I
would like to ask if the link could be embedded to our school's website. It
will be great for our online guest and our community to see that we have
this available for our students.

OPAC is a library term that stands for Online Patron Access Catalog. The
term is popular to describe a program which allows library users or library
'patrons' to search a library.

LibraryWorld has several different ways a patron can search a library. The
most popular is through the LibraryWorld OPAC service. There are three ways
to access the service:

1. You can click on this link and go directly to the OPAC service and
your library - Go to
OPAC.

2. You or a patron can type http://opac.libraryworld.com into the
Toolbar area of a Web browser. This will bring up the OPAC login page.
Type: Simon Sanchez High Library

Students could type in the title of the book, the author's name of even the subject or topic they are interested of. After the records show, you could click on the title of the particular item you are searching to find out the status of the book. This will tell you whether the book is in or checked out or if it's an e-book.

Be looking out for the new titles being added on our catalog. We will also soon add the Follett Shelf. Follett Shelf are e-books that will allow you to access the resources immediately online. Read the books from any of your devices.

More to see in our SSHS Library soon!
