Beating the Careers - Discussion Post #8
The Careers had a great strategy in winning the game but there are others who are working alone or in separate teams to beat them. Which of your opponents will you eliminate first and how will you do it?
I would eliminate the one who has the least skills and isn't being productive. I wouldn't want to keep someone who wouldn't help out the team or at least give an effort. I would eliminate them by using their weakest strength. After I eliminate them, I would have an opportunity to advance in the game and move a lot much quicker. I would feel bad, but you have to do what you gotta do.
I would eliminate the strongest player in the opposing team. He is obviously a major threat to my survival so I would try to take him out first. I would follow him and observe his strengths and weaknesses and hopefully catch him off guard long enough to expose his weakness and execute him. In addition to eliminating the strongest opponent, he would most likely be the leader of the Career alliance. Without a leader, a team normally falls apart. That would leave them just as alone and vulnerable as I would be, therefore evening out the playing field.
I would eliminate the player who seems less suspect-able of being strong. I noticed that it is usually the quiet and mysterious ones that seem to be the strongest and most strategic.I would observe their rest patterns, movements, and fights with other opposing members to see how they work about. This can help pin point their weaknesses and their strengths and allow me to manipulate them with what I know if we ever came in contact. Although I am at risk of being caught and killed, I will take the risk if it is necessary to make it out of the Games alive.
I would want to kill the person that is the strongest first.The reason why is because after I kill that person, I wouldn't have to worry as much. I would eliminate from the strongest to the weakest. By killing the strong ones in the beginning, it would be easier for me. I also might have a better chance of surviving.
To be honest, I wouldn't really want to do anything. I would probably just wait it out, save my energy, and hunt on my own time. Or since I chose to join the Careers, I would just have them do all the killing. If anything, I'll just try to make myself seem useless or something. Hopefully, I'll have protection from the Careers. They'd most likely save me for last since I won't be much harm. Then when there are barely any others left, I would slowly kill everyone off, and I'd probably start off with the weakest link.
I would attempt to eliminate the Career pack leader first because removing the leader would weaken the pack substantially. The weaker the players are around me, the less likely I am to be killed. After that I would start from the weakest and leave the rest of the careers alone so they would take out some of the other players also for me because even without their leader they are still strong players.
I would eliminate all the weakest first. Then, I'll hide somewhere. So, the strongest have to fight each other. I'll just wait it out until theres just one tribute left. Then, i'll eliminate him/her. It would be easy because he/she would be worn out while I still have a lot of energy.
I would try to at least hurt the stronger opponents so maybe they would die from like an infection or something like that and just weaken them so later they would be easy to take out. But if the more experienced ones are out on the field still, I would hide and just set-up all types of traps. After that, I'll take on the weaker ones for an easy win. That is my strategy on surviving the games.

I'm the type of person who works alone. But if I could team up with someone, it would be the person from my district. That way it can kind of be easier to kill the rest because I have a partner. If I were to work alone, I would wait for my opponents to come to me rather than go after them. I'll be the sneaky type and wait for my prey and attack.

I will take the persons weapons that i killed and practice with it until im satisfied enough to use it in battle.
that is a really good one.its really hard to have a answer for that because if your alone you have not one to help you out.you have to make friends in the game the slowly kill your teammates.you have to fight for yourself and not give up.
Well to tell the truth if I were put in a game to death for entertainment I'd probably do what everyone does and try to survive and kill the weak and work my way up to the strong.It's not prideful but there's only so much you can do alone.Working together with a partner isn't bad but getting close is,Because in the end let's say you both are the last 2 and only 1 can win.That's a pretty big predicament your in especially when your worried about whose going 6 feet under.So yeah I'd do a battle to the death in the end a fair one also.
