As you read the Hunger Games, you learn that some participants choose to join a team or go solo. If you were one of the players, would you team-up with someone or would you choose to go by yourself? If you plan to join a team, who would you choose? If you plan to go solo, what is your plan of survival? Explain how you will hunt, sleep, or eat without any help or if you have other people in your team, how will you divide the duties?
If I was one of the players, I seriously wouldn't know what to do. Just cause, if I were to go solo, I wouldn't want to be all alone, and, I would want someone to have my back if anything happened. But also, I wouldn't want to team up with anyone, because, I would have to end up killing the person to survive. And I wouldn't want to do that, you know, kill my friend. That's awful. But if I was to choose to team up with someone, it would be Rue.
ReplyDeleteI would want to go solo, or with my fellow district tribute. Then my plan would be very straight forward. Stay alive even if it means resorting to some Bear Brylls tactics. I'd keep myself armed with the minimal of a knife. Even if it means getting myself in some trouble at the beginning of the games. Because the way I look at it. If you can't survive the few moments of battle in the beginning, you will not survive at all.
ReplyDeleteI'll pick the best one out of all of them. Because it will be better when you have a partner. Cause one can hunt and one can find water and cook. And at night one has to sleep and one is watching. Tahts why i want a partner.
ReplyDeleteWell I'd probably choose either solo which is more of a challenge but my gut is telling me to go with my fellow district tribute . Because for one we can both agree to survive and well when it comes to the last 2 and were the unlucky ones we can both agree to a fair fight to the death even if it hurt's our pride . The only con to this is getting too close to the point where you can't kill the other but that's the price of not being alone I say .

ReplyDeleteHonestly, when I look at it, I don't do well in teams. I would prefer going solo. Going solo would mean no back-stabbing, no killing of a precious friend, and no dead weight. That is how I see it. It may seem cold, but it would make sense if you saw it from my perspective. I would be able to set up traps, defend myself, and gather food without worrying if my other team mate got caught or killed. The only downfall for this is that I would not have some one to watch my back in case something may happen if I ever let my guard down.
ReplyDeleteIf I was in the games, then I would rather be alone. I want to have allies ,but i know that in the end I would have to kill them. Also even in the team, someone can just stab you in the back. I would hunt in the morning and sleep for a few hours at night. I would also look for water when I feel that it's safe.
ReplyDeleteFor me I think I would want an Ally especially a partner like Rue. I would pick Rue because shes a very good person, Knows medicine and I think me and her will make a good team. For me I would be the person the person taking care of the attacks and Rue can be the person to go and sneak up onto people. Plus, if I was too get injured Rue knows some medicine methods that could fix me or her up. Rue is also a good spy, and an observant person, So she would be the first person I would pick if I needed a reliable partner .
ReplyDeleteIf I were to team up with anyone, it would be with my fellow district tribute. We already have some sort of connection, even if minute. And everyone knows that if your district wins, whether it be you or your partner, your family would be provided for anyway. And if all you care about is your family, you'd want either you or the other tribute from your district to win. So no matter the outcome in the ending, even if it's the two of you, you still win in some indirect way. The tasks of survival- hunting, sleeping, etc- will be divided in halves and whatever happens, happens.
ReplyDeleteI would go solo even if it means I would be alone. I wouldn't wanna go with my district tribute and end up killing my partner in the end for survival. If I go solo, it would give me an opportunity to handle everything carefully and precisely. I'll admit that I will have some trouble doing it alone, but again I wouldn't have too much worries and complications. My plan of survival is pretty simple. I would be able to gather enough food for myself. I would rest when I know I have the time to.
ReplyDeleteI guess I would team up. It's the smart thing to do and it increases your chance of survival in the beginning but later on it's not gonna help you. I would team up with my district partner. At least if we're the the last two surviving, our familes will still get something even though one of us will be killed. As for the duties, we'll take shifts. Like one will be sleeping and the other will stand guard. I guess thats how thing would go, taking turns, watching each other back until we get down the end where we have to kill each other off
ReplyDeleteI would definitely go solo if I was in the games. If I picked a partner then I would still have to kill them at the end and I wouldn't want to deal with all that. I could hunt and fish to feed myself and keep killing off players until I either won or died.
ReplyDeleteI guess i wouldn't want a partner with someone at all,because we are all there to kill each other and there can only be one winner. of course you wouldn't want to be partner with anyone,later, knowing that you two will eventually kill each other.I know it will be harder to be alone like hunting and surving . but it's a good thing for me because i am the only one to be worried about myself and noone else.I would just go get food for myself and just do everything to survive.
ReplyDeleteIf I were in the games and I had to choose whether to go solo or team up, I'd probably just team up. Honestly, I'd go with the Careers. I feel that that would be the smartest move to make at the start of the games. I'd stick with them long enough to gain their trust and make sure that I"m one of the last 10 to 5 tributes, then I'd work out a plan to take out the rest of them. For all the hunting, sleeping and eating, we could probably figure out some kind of system to even everything out, like shifts for sleeping and hunting and rationing all the food we find.

ReplyDeleteI would wanna go solo. Reason being is because I do not want to be responsible for anybody and I don't have to worry about anybody else. I would try and survive by hunting, making myself a shelter, and try my best to set up traps to keep away from any danger.

ReplyDeleteI'm the work alone kind of person but if I were to team up with someone, I would team up with the person from my district. I would trust the person more than someone whose not from my district. If I were to be alone, my plan to survive is to find a good shelter, food, water, and the rest of the necessities. This is were my skills will come to action. What I've learned and everything. I'd plan to hunt, rest, and eat when possible. It all depends on what is happening. But if I were to team up, we would have a plan.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely work solo because this game does have only one winner. I would use whats surrounding me. Find a cave for shelter and to rest and hide out at. I would catch animals and eat them if i really had to. And i would wait out till the rest doesn't make it . And since I'm quick I would just run my way out this challenge.
