Hello Shark readers!
We'd love to hear from you. Tell us a little about yourself. The type of books you like reading, your hobbies and interest and the current book you are reading. Tell us a little more why you've chosen the book.

The type of books I like to read are mystery books. Books that keep my mind guessing. Sherlock Holmes is just the type of book for me. Growing up watching "Law and Order " as well as "CSI" , bought my attention for story lines such as Sherlock Holmes. It's always been my interests to become a detective or an officer. Reason I chose "Death Cloud" by Andrew Lane is because it has all the materials I look for in a storyline. Such as mysteries and clues that keep me guessing. My hobbies are mostly playing music . If I'm not playing music , I'm either playing games or playing cards. I'm not an addict for gambling , I just like to use math a lot.
Hi, I'm reading Lie by Caroline Bock. I just started on it and just the beginning is interesting. I love reading so I'm glad I have this class where I can borrow books. I've read almost my whole high school years & I wouldn't want to stop now. I would like to know what would happen to the characters. Reading makes time go faster and takes me to another world. That's one or two reasons why I love to read.
Hello, my name is Allan Agag. The book I chose is "the outsiders" by S.E. Hinton. The story is very interesting, tells the story of a group of teens that live in the ghetto and tell their experiences. My hobbies is bboying and listening to music. While my interests are being an artist in music, dance and the other fine arts.
Hello. My name is Lawrence Guiao. You can call me, "Nighthawk." I am a senior. I enjoy reading books that teach you more about life. Basketball is my sport. I will destroy anyone in basketball. Halo 4 just came out yesterday. I have been a fan of Halo since it first came out. I am the ultimate gamer. My Xbox Live gamertag is 'tK CRUUUUUUNK.' Some of my interest include eating, sleeping, playing sports and sleeping. The book I am currently reading is The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. I chose this book because I would always see quotes from the book online. That's pretty much it. Lawrence Out!
Hello Mrs. Napalan.I have chosen the book "Hatchet", by Gary Paulsen. It is a really good book. It is about a plane passenger who gets stranded from the plane crash to Canada. My Hobbies are doing my work, play video games, basketball and music. My interest is to be Airforce and go college. Also study Electronics and Technician.
Hi everyone! My name's Bryan. I am just a typical teenager, the one that likes to eat, sleep, watch TV and whatever other people do. I am lazy, but when it comes to work I do participate and try to do the best I can just to get a high grade and pass. The book I chose is Envy by Gregg Olsen and honestly, I do not know anything about it. Mrs. Napalan just told us to get to get any book and read. Apparently, I got this book because I find the cover page interesting so why not give it a try. I am not a book person, but I'll do try my best to read and understand the book.
Hey EVERYONE! My name is Rica! I am just a typical high scholar, who may have the same goals as you, which probably would be to graduate high school. Well, this is my last year that I will roam the halls of S.S.H.S. Because it's my last year, I would like to make this year different by not joining sports. For most of my entire school year, I've been in sports which I don't want to do for the last year. I would want to hang out with friends and get to know some new faces. Just to let you know that sports is not a bad thing it's that Ive been in sport yet I still feel like something was missing that I would like to know on my own. So, it pretty much was a downfall at first but in the end it turned out good. I got to know people and maybe even new friends. But anyways the types of books i like to read are those drama, exciting, romantic, and etc. As for the book I am currently reading is "Clean by Amy Reed". The reason why i got this is because I didn't know what else book to pick. Mostly, it kind of got my attention when I opened it and read a few parts from the book. So this book was my finally choice. Hello my name is Ramon Deplata Jr. I like to watch tv, work,listen to music and play video games. I chose the Red Kayak by Priscilla Cummings. The story is very interesting and talks about an accident with family in their kayak while this boy Bradly find out the truth behind the event.
hi Mrs.Napalan and everyone else. my name is Jamil. i like long walks on the beach, gazing upon the stars, writing deep romantic poems while listing to "the passionate shepherd to his love" by Christopher Marlowe. the book i chose is "dope sick" by Walter Dean Myers. this book caught my eyes and reading the first few pages just blew my mind. the way Myers writes is very unique and daring. i cant wait to read this book. i will inform all you guys how this book goes. Hello , my name is Pele Smau and I play sports. I don't necessarily like it, but I'm pretty good, so I do it. The book I'm attempting to read is "Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator" which is the sequel of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", written by Roal Dahl. I chose this book because it looked pretty cool. I'm not sure If I'm going to enjoy reading this, but I guess I'll find out soon enough.
Hello my name is Enrique Garcia. I like to play basketball and video games. I dont really like reading, but it actually is very interesting when I tried to. I was never really forced to read, but it is really good. The Book that I am gonna read is "Dead is so Last Year" , which is written by Marlene Perez. I chose this book because I was in a rush. The title is kind of catchy for me and i read a little of the first pages and its pretty good. I don't really know what this book is gonna be about, but I will find out as I read through it.
Hello everyone, my name is Michael. I love watching the stars and being Romantic. The books I like reading are of course the Romance, drama, and medieval stories. I book I chose is "The Girl Death Left Behind" by Lurlene McDaniel. This book seems like it's about drama and also Romance that's why it caught my eyes. Though It seems like it's mostly about a girl having this emotional depression in life. I'll let you guys know about this book later on.
Priv'yet everyone, I am Braydyn Mesa. The things i enjoy doing are playing video games, hanging out with family and friends, eating, and watching anime shows. The books i like reading are Mythology and Fantasies. I am currently reading "Eragon" a book about a young man whose destiny was to be a dragon rider and fight the forces of evil.

Hello everyone, my name is Roanne Cortez! I'd have to say that I don't have that much hobbies except for photography. I love to take pictures whether it be on my phone, ipad, or camera. Taking pictures have been my way of making memories and remembering things. I especially love to take pictures of groups of people and nature. I'm a very optimistic person who is a true believer in hope and love. The book I am reading right now is titled True Believer by Virginia Euwer Wolff. I thought that I would be able to relate to the book after reading the synopsis in the back because of what I'm going through right now as high school soon comes to an end.

I'm in the JROTC program since freshman year and I've been in the shooting team since sophomore year. I am currently reading the book "WANTED" by Caroline B. Cooney.
Hey everyone, My name is Ryo Espinosa and I enjoy playing first person shooter games especially the Call of Duty franchise. Not only I play games, I play the guitar as well. If I'm not doing any of these, then I'm most likely asleep. Frankly, I do not enjoy reading books however I've been reading more frequently just to become smarter. The book that I chose is "Halo". Unfortunately, I forgot the authors name. I chose this book because it's one of the best games I've played.
Hi everyone. My name is April Colitoy. I'm a senior. Being an athlete was something i considered myself as for most of my high school life, but this year, i'm focusing on other things. I enjoy investing most of my time now with family and friends and i guess i like to draw too. The book i'm currently reading is "Looking for Alaska" by John Green.

My hobbies are drawing, reading, going to the beach, and long boarding. The current book that I'm reading is called "The Giver" by Lois Lowry. It is definitely a book that everybody should read.

I'm apart of this years football team that won championship I've played football since my freshmen year! The wonderful book I'm reading is the "the Devil's Arithmetic" by:Jane Yolen. Hi everyone my name is Arth Bacani. I like reading a novel specially the love story one because its made smile every-time I'm reading it. The one I'm reading now is all about "THE ANNEXED" By: Sharon Dogar. It's really a nice book to read because its all about the holocausts and the powerful story of the boy who loved Anne Frank ^_^
